Riversketch was a commission I made for a countryside home based in Gredos, Spain. The land surrounding the house (originally a goat shepherd’s) is high up on the mountain, and I was captured by its small river, its ponds, cascades, stones polished by the water and magnificent trees. I decided to make a series of sculptures inspired in this relationship between rocks, trees and water, which I felt was so essential to this place.
